      Thanks for this book review. I am interested in learning the principles of Alfie Kohn. I do believe that proactive parenting is more effective than reactive parenting. Just like what in mentioned in the post, being a reactive parent, you focus on what you should do .   Alfie Kohn’s book Unconditional Parenting is a powerful challenge to this approach.
